About Project

The GREEN IMPACT project – Global Resilience through Educational Environmental Networks for Institutional Management, Professional Advancement and Community Transformation—is a bold step towards embedding sustainability at the core of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Western Balkans. As the region navigates its green transition in alignment with the European Green Deal, this initiative empowers universities to drive environmental change through a Whole Institutional Approach, integrating sustainability into governance, curricula, research and operations. With a tailored Institutional SelfAssessment Framework, micro credentials for green skills, and hands-on capacity-building, GREEN IMPACT will bridge the gap between policy and practice, equipping HEIs to lead the shift towards a circular economy, climate resilience and pollution reduction. The project’s transformative impact will extend beyond Higher Education, fostering collaboration between
other universities and educational institutions (including their students) which will use the GREEN IMPACT framework and training programmes to create a more sustainable regional ecosystem.

Effective dissemination and communication are essential components for ensuring the visibility, impact and sustainability of the GREEN IMPACT project. This Dissemination and Communication Plan outlines the strategic approach, objectives, target groups, tools and performance indicators that will guide all dissemination and communication activities throughout the project lifecycle. It aims to ensure that project results are communicated clearly, consistently and effectively to relevant stakeholders at local, regional, national and European levels. Given the transformative ambition of GREEN IMPACT to embed sustainability within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through a Whole Institutional Approach, communication activities play a key role in raising awareness, fostering engagement and facilitating knowledge
transfer. Dissemination is not limited to the promotion of project activities but is designed to support the uptake, replication and long-term exploitation of project outputs, including the Institutional Self-Assessment Framework, micro-credentials for green skills and capacitybuilding tools. This plan establishes a coherent framework for internal and external communication among project partners, associated stakeholders, policy actors, academic communities, students and the wider public. It ensures alignment with Erasmus+ requirements, ethical standards and data protection rules, while promoting transparency, inclusiveness and accessibility. Furthermore, the plan integrates monitoring mechanisms through clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of dissemination efforts and enable continuous improvement. By implementing this structured and strategic approach, the GREEN IMPACT consortium aims to maximise the project’s outreach, strengthen its contribution to the European Green Deal objectives and support HEIs in the Western Balkans in becoming active drivers of sustainable institutional and societal transformation.
